About Stat Duel
Stat Duel is a daily higher-or-lower game for countries. In each round two countries go head to head on one statistic, and you pick the one with more.
How to play Country vs Country
- 7 rounds. Each round compares population, area or highest-point elevation.
- The two values always differ by at least 15%, so no round is a coin flip.
- After each pick, both values are shown with their source and date.

- How accurate are the numbers?
- Only numbers that two independent sources agree on are used, and each one is shown with its source and reference date.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your results, streaks and badges are saved only in your browser. There is nothing to sign up for.
- When is the new puzzle?
- Every day at 00:00 UTC. Everyone in the world gets the same puzzle on the same UTC day.
